why so long?

well, that took a while! It's taken loooong to get back here, i tells ya..

The dissertation got done (just about!) hardcore RSI took over my hands, and typing was out of the question. Then the job from hell reared its ugly head, whilst cunningly masquerading as the wunder-job that should have made the dreadpirate most happy..

It was all a bit much really, and fun stuff like writing for the hell of it was a mere dim recollection.

But now I'm back! Huzzah! wOOt! Deck the halls! Oh no wait, that's not right..

So what I'm basically saying is, back to the regular scheduled programming; infrequent sporadic posts of a questionable quality..
